Every year covenant members and friends of our church freely contribute to One Great Hour of Sharing, an annual offering supported by many Christian denominations. A gift to One Great Hour of Sharing enables the church to share God's love with our neighbors-in-need around the world by providing relief to those affected by natural disasters, provide food to the hungry, and helping to empower the poor and oppressed. Envelopes are available at the back of the sanctuary, or gifts may be sent to MUCC. If online giving is easiest for you, check out our Donations page. Simply write OGHS in the "UCC special offerings" memo line.

We are pleased to announce the ordination service of one of our own McFarland UCC covenant partners, Kristin Gorton. Kris is a graduate of Chicago Theological Seminary and served as our sabbatical interim pastor during summer 2016. After her ordination, the newly minted Rev. Kristin Gorton will serve at Memorial UCC in Fitchburg, as their pastor and teacher. We are extremely proud of Kris and celebrate with her during this exciting time in her pastoral adventure.
