Now In Our Name (NION) Ministry Team

• The purpose of Now in Our Name (NION) is to bring attention to the situation at the US-Mexico border and to help people who are affected by our government’s current immigration policies.  Our primary focus is to provide direct support to families who were separated at the border and help them reunite. While we have no routine activities for people to participate in, we will make specific requests for help from the congregation that include
  • Supporting immigrant families or individuals  by donating money, food, clothing, and other items
  • Engaging in advocacy efforts by communicating with elected officials on how current immigration policies conflict with our Christian values
