Advent Kickoff!

Sunday, November 27, we celebrated a new way of experiencing Advent: 

The Reverse Advent Calendar!

We're flipping the usual Advent Calendar around and instead of receiving something small every day during Advent, we're giving something!  And it's not too late to get one started.  You are invited to choose one of the following organizations and write their name on a bag.  Put one item in each day.  Bring your bag back Christmas Eve or to Christmas Morning worship!  Don't have a bag yet?  We have plenty in the sanctuary.  

The McFarland Food Pantry

• Spices, salt, chili powder, basil, etc.
• Toiletries, toilet paper, tooth paste, etc.
• Canned meats, jerky, and beans
• Soup packets, rice, beans, instant potatoes
• Canned fruit and vegetables

 
McFarland High School PRIDE Pantry

• Cereal, Granola Bars
• Fruit cups/Applesauce
•  Instant oatmeal
• Just add water pancake mix
• Maple Syrup
• Mac ‘n’ Cheese
• Peanut Butter and Jelly
• Soups (canned or boxed)
• Microwave popcorn
• Deodorant
• Gift cards to local restaurants/stores
