Jeff & Susan TrentadueAfter taking some time off from McFarland United Church of Christ, Jeff and Susan Trentadue recently returned to the congregation, and are very happy that they did. Jeff is a retired teacher from Waukesha and now works as a corporate environmental health and safety manager for the Kriete Group, a trucking dealership with offices throughout Wisconsin. Susan is a school psychologist. The Trentadues have two children, and Jeff has volunteered as a Big Brother to a student for nine years. Q: Why did you return to the McFarland United Church of Christ? A: We had been to other churches and like it here. We believe there is a higher power that guides us through the day and helps us make decisions. Q: What makes the worship service so special for you? A: It’s nice to see the same faces, and I think Pastor Kerri has really done so much. She is an absolute breath of fresh air. | Tracy WeberSince Tracy Weber started coming to McFarland United Church of Christ about a year ago, she has been an active member of the church family. She’s volunteered in the set-up and take-down of Sundaes on Thursday at the village gazebo, and she also participated with the ministry team for the ACT bicycle ride. Tracy makes her living driving school buses for the Middleton/Cross Plains School District. Tracy was invited to worship at MUCC while listening to her good friend, Trish Bailey, perform at Sundaes on Thursdays last year. Q: What do you get out of worship at MUCC? A: A better understanding of God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit, and what they did and do for us. Q: How do the services compare to other churches you have attended? A: As far as the church I grew up in, it is night and day! Q: What makes MUCC such a special place to worship on Sunday? A: I have been made to feel like family right away from Pastor Kerri and the people that go there. |
A Church with Heart + meaningful ministry + warm hospitality (+ lots of publicity) = many new faces among our worshiping community. Over the next few months, while we gather a More Than Membership group in preparation for a Covenant Sunday, we'll be bringing you mini-profiles so we can get to know one another. For this issue of our e-newsletter, Tracy Weber, and Jeff & Susan Trentadue sat down for a chat: Comments are closed.
